Our company played a pivotal role in the construction of the new Washington Convention Center, contributing to its grandeur and functionality. Spanning over 2.3 million square feet across six city blocks on 17 acres, this architectural marvel boasts 725,000 square feet of column-free prime exhibit space, 150,000 square feet of meeting space with 70 breakout rooms, 36,000 square feet of registration space, and a 52,000 square foot ballroom. With our expertise in structural steel detailing, we ensured the seamless integration of approximately 41,000 tons of steel, facilitating the Center’s capacity to welcome three million visitors annually and generate over one billion dollars in economic activity.
