Project description

Duke Energy is converting this former coal fired power plant to a coal ash recycling unit to make concrete from coal ash. The detailing requirement in this project were development of the administrative and control building, ash handling enclosure pit, miscellaneous buildings and structures, twin screw feeder, walking floor support steel, external heat exchanger duct support steel, reactor structure, combustion duct support steel, grinding circuit enclosure, product loadout stair tower, cable tray support steel and bridge truss and pipe rack.
