Project description

Valero Port Arthur Refinery is startegically located on about 4000 acres along the Texas Gulf coast. The refinery the capacity to refine 395,000 barrels a day. It produces various fuels like gasoline, jet fuel, petroleum coke, diesel and petrochemicals. This project involved detailing structural and miscellaneous steel for the $975 million second Coker Unit. The detailing included the new east-west and north-south pipe rack structure along with stair towers, hand rails, ladders and checkered plates.
