Project description

Shell Convent Refinery is located next to the Mississippi River, midway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The refinery is designed to process approximately 240,000 barrels per day of crude oil, producing conventional petroleum products and refinery grade sulfur. The refinery produces a variety of products like gasoline, aviation jet fuel, diesel fuel, propane, butane and oil for power generation. The job involved detailing of structural steel for Praxair SMR Integration.
