Project description

Our company provided structural steel detailing services for the construction of Gila River Arena, featuring a retractable roof and a unique roll-out field, the first of its kind in North America. The retractable roof consists of two large panels supported by two Brunel trusses, each 700 feet long and with a depth of 87 feet at the center. Designed by Peter Eiseman in collaboration with HOK Sport, this architectural marvel spans over 25 acres and was completed at a total cost of $220 million.
