Project description

Enviva manufactures wood pellets as an alternative to coal for power generation. The $140 million plant can produce up to 700,000 metric tons of wood pellets annually. The plant will use low-grade southern pine trees and other soft woods to produce these pellets. This detailing in this project included structural steel and trusses for the pellet press building and miscellaneous steel for stair towers, pipe handrails and caged ladders.
